Boehringer Ingelheim launches new Vetmedin chewable tablets

7th April 2014

Boehringer Ingelheim has announced the launch of Vetmedin 10mg chewable tablets, a new addition to its Vetmedin range of canine heart failure treatments.

This easy and convenient alternative for bigger dogs that require a larger dose of Vetmedin is available in 50-tablet pots and can also be split into two 5mg tablets. The product range now includes 1.25mg, 5mg and 10mg options.

Vetmedin is a treatment for dogs with congestive heart failure due to dilated cardiomyopathy and mitral valve disease, which functions by opening up blood vessels to and from the heart, while also strengthening the heartbeat.

Most animals experience an improvement within one week of starting treatment on Vetmedin, with the benefits becoming more noticeable in the following weeks.

To support the launch of the new product offering, the company has also announced a promotional offer to provide veterinary practices that order two packs or more of the tablets with a free set of Comfy Clips, which are specifically designed to be gentle on skin when undertaking ECG examinations.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801710474-ADNFCR
