Boehringer Ingelheim launches Twitter feed for BI Academy

1st October 2013

Boehringer Ingelheim has announced the launch of a new BI Academy Twitter feed to help alert veterinary professionals about up-and-coming online continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities.

The @biacademy feed will provide information on practical and relevant forthcoming CPD meetings which are presented by leading specialists in their fields, with future topics including epilepsy management, spinal trauma and lower motor neurone disease.

Offering educational support to veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses in the form of interactive webinars, BI Academy's CPD meetings regularly attract more than 1,500 attendees and allow animal health professionals to increase their skills and knowledge by simply logging on to a computer.

Craig Beck, business head for the small animals business at Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, said: "Our new Twitter account will keep potential delegates informed about up-and-coming webinars to ensure they don't miss out."

This comes after Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica recently presented its prestigious annual awards for anaesthesia, orthopaedics and cardiology to three students from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801644274-ADNFCR
