Boehringer Ingelheim to sponsor novice showjumping classes at Hickstead
Boehringer Ingelheim has announced that it will be sponsoring a series of novice showjumping classes at Hickstead, an equestrian sport centre in West Sussex.
The company will provide assistance via its successful equine supplement brand Equitop Myoplast, as part of an effort to support grassroots showjumping.
This partnership will encompass the Equitop Myoplast Novice Stakes at the Equestrian.com Hickstead Derby Meeting in June 2015 and at the Longines Royal International Horse Show in late July/early August.
Riders will qualify in these classes to compete in the Equitop Myoplast All England Novice Championship, which will be held during the All England Jumping Championships from September 3rd to 6th.
Liz Barrett, equine business manager at Boehringer Ingelheim, said: "I am sure we will see many stars of the future competing in the novice championship this year and Equitop Myoplast is a perfect partner to support their progression to the next level."
Equitop Myoplast is an amino acid supplement designed to support lean muscle development in horses. It has been recommended by top showjumpers such as Scott Brash, Trevor Breen, Nicole Pavitt and Corinne Collins.
