Boots UK launches teenage outreach campaign

22nd January 2016

Boots UK has announced a new long-term outreach campaign to help the pharmacy chain to better engage and support teenage consumers.

Working with clinical psychologist Professor Tanya Byron, Boots recently asked more than 1,000 UK teens between the ages of 12 and 17 to convey in their own words how they really feel.

It was revealed that the majority of teens are most keen to build more confidence and are seeking advice on how to get it, including guidance on how to look their best and the key to better self-belief in their individuality and personal qualities.

The brand will be holding another meeting with teenagers to discuss the research and gather thoughts on how Boots can help teens feel more confident, while it will also be teaming up with internet personalities and launching a Tumblr page to further disseminate its message.

Helen Jeremiah, director of customer strategy and communications at Boots UK, said: "We have absolutely no idea what this group of teenagers are going to come up with, but we are excited about finding out and working with them to help them feel good."

This marks the first in a series of campaigns, service launches and wellbeing initiatives designed to help the brand improve its outreach.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801810753-ADNFCR
