Boston Scientific named among world’s top innovators

Boston Scientific has announced that it has once again been included in the list of the Top 100 Global Innovators, compiled by Clarivate Analytics.

Formerly known as the Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Innovators list, the report highlights the organisations that are most active in innovation through research and development, protection of their IP and the achievement of commercial success.

Boston Scientific was one of only two North American companies that were newcomers in 2016 and retained their position in the 2017 list, having launched approximately 100 new products during the year.

The ranking was compiled after analysing patent and citation data in line with a number of criteria, including patent volume, application-to-grant success, globalisation and citation influence.
