Brands2Life appoints new consumer creative director

Brands2Life has announced the promotion of Ollie Edwards to the position of creative director of its consumer team.

Mr Edwards has been with the agency for a decade and has overseen work for some of the firm's largest consumer clients, including Gatwick Airport, Rentokil, Match, Moonpig, Candy Crush and John Lewis.

He led the team that developed the High Speed Selfie campaign for Virgin Media, which was named technology campaign of the year at the PRWeek Awards last year, as well as winning a Masters of Marketing award.

In his new role in charge of the 25-person consumer team, he will be responsible for further enhancing Brands2Life's growing reputation for creative storytelling, as well as delivering new campaign ideas and business pitches, and taking charge of creative best practice.

Giles Fraser, co-founder at Brands2Life, said: "Ollie's been the creative force behind some of our best-known consumer campaigns in recent years. Coming from an account-handling background means that he has an innate understanding of what ideas will sell, both to clients and to media."
