Bristol-Myers Squibb appoints new human resources leader

15th February 2013

Bristol-Myers Squibb has announced the appointment of Ann Powell Judge as its new senior vice-president for human resources, effective as of March 2013.

Ms Judge is the former chief human resources officer at Shire Pharmaceuticals and also previously held key human resources roles at Wyeth and the Dow Chemical Company.

She brings more than 20 years of relevant industry experience to her new position at Bristol-Myers Squibb and will become part of the company's senior management team, helping it to execute its biopharmaceutical strategy.

Lamberto Andreotti, chief executive officer of Bristol-Myers Squibb, said: "Her leadership abilities and practical business focus will help ensure we have the right human resource development and organisational effectiveness strategy as we continue to build a strong foundation for future growth."

This comes after the firm strengthened its senior leadership team further last month by naming Dr Mike Burgess – formerly of Roche – as its new senior vice-president for discovery medicine and clinical pharmacology.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801541016-ADNFCR
