Burson-Marsteller announces partnership with CMC Connect
On Monday (March 16th), Burson-Marsteller, a global PR and comms firm, announced a new partnership with Nigeria-based CMC Connect.
The agreement is testament to the ever-strengthening relationships with the two firms and marks the 29th Burson-Marsteller branded operation located on the African continent.
Last year, the New York-based company announced 27 new branded operations and the creation of its Brainchild Burson-Marsteller, which it established in Uganda in November 2014.
Now, the firm's full network in Africa covers 53 of the 55 countries on the continent.
Furthermore, Burson-Marsteller has built a very strong relationship, on a non-exclusive basis, with Blast Communications over the last few years, which has led the two companies to sign an affiliate agreement.
The deal covers the Indian Ocean islands, where the company has its hub office, Madagascar, the Seychelles, the Comoros Islands and Reunion.
In addition, Angolan-based Back Communications has also joined the Burson-Marsteller Africa network on an exclusive affiliate basis.
