Cancer Research UK appoints Good Agency for social media work

29th October 2015

Cancer Research UK has handed Good Agency a new social media brief, building on the existing relationship between the organisations.

The firm has been appointed as Cancer Research UK's lead agency for social media work and will be tasked with creating effective social-led campaigns to support key initiatives such as the charity's Race for Life programme.

Good Agency will be the only partner handling social media for the charity, with the contract to be held on a rolling basis following a four-way competitive pitch.

Its dedicated team of planners, community managers, designers and videographers will create social campaigns for key channels to mobilise the online target audience, collaborating closely with Cancer Research UK's in-house social team.

Chris Norman, strategy director for Good Agency, said: "We've worked with Cancer Research UK for some time and it's hugely exciting to be part of their most innovative and future-facing stream of work."

This comes after the firm was appointed to the charity's strategic and tactical design roster earlier this year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801804471-ADNFCR
