Cancer Research UK launches social media campaign for Race for Life

16th March 2016

Cancer Research UK has launched a social media campaign for Race for Life, with the help of Good Agency.

The new campaign takes the charity's 'Pink Army' concept to create video content that highlights the real stories of women. The agency has launched the first of six episodes, which focus on women who have been diagnosed with cancer, talking about why they have joined the Pink Army and stressing the importance of participating in Race for Life.

The Race for Life includes both 5 km and 10 km runs, as well as Pretty Muddy events, and is aimed at women of all ages.

Production company Spirited Pictures created the video content along with Good Agency.

Keri Hudson, social media manager for Race for Life, said: "Our incredible supporters tell the Race for Life story better than we ever could, so this year we really wanted to bring them centre stage. These videos will allow us to share those stories in a really engaging way, and we hope viewers will be inspired by them."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801814722-ADNFCR
