CareFusion wins Zenith Award for respiratory product excellence

CareFusion has been awarded the Zenith Award from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) at this year's International Respiratory Congress and Exhibition.

The accolade is voted on by AARC members and is given to the leading companies in the respiratory care industry, with members asked to evaluate companies that have demonstrated outstanding performance.

Key criteria include the quality of equipment and supplies, and the accessibility and helpfulness of sales personnel, as well as responsiveness, service record, truth in advertising, and support of the respiratory care profession.

This marks the eighth time that CareFusion has received this award, and the second year in a row that it has claimed the prize.

Ruth Lundstrom, vice-president and general manager of ventilation at CareFusion, said: "On behalf of more than 100 respiratory care professionals at CareFusion that support our customers and their patients, it is an honour to receive the Zenith award and serve this profession."

The company showcased a number of new product offerings at the AARC conference, including the CareFusion Ventilation System, AirLife respiratory products, and 3100A and 3100B High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation technology.
