CareFusion’s Alaris pumps receive high rating in new study

6th August 2013

CareFusion has announced that its Alaris System infusion pumps have received a high rating in a new report from KLAS Research.

The devices were given the highest overall score in the syringe pump and patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pump categories in the independent analyst's 2013 Smart Pump/EMR Integration Report.

It also ranked CareFusion as the technology leader that is most likely to take the lead in integrating smart pumps with electronic medical records (EMR), as well as being the only company that currently has a customer using EMR interoperability with large volume and syringe infusion pumps.

JC Kyrillos, senior vice-president and general manager of infusion for CareFusion, said: "Using one platform for large volume pumps, syringe pumps and PCA is a key component to our strategy of providing the best and least complicated solution for our hospital customers."

CareFusion is responsible for a wide variety of esteemed medical technology brands, including Alaris, Pyxis, Jaeger, Avea, AVAmax and Snowden-Pencer.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801621564-ADNFCR
