CareFusion’s MedMined Surveillance Advisor earns praise from KLAS

CareFusion has announced that its MedMined Surveillance Advisor has been recognised as a sector-leading innovation by the independent body KLAS.

The research firm, which monitors healthcare IT performance through the active participation of thousands of care organisations, has named the system as a category leader for infection control and monitoring.

MedMined Surveillance Advisor has been studied and published in numerous peer-reviewed publications and has been proven to help hospitals identify and reduce healthcare-associated infections by automating the process of infection surveillance.

This marks the fourth time the MedMined Surveillance Advisor has received the highest rating in this category.

Earlier this month, the company reported its financial results for the second quarter of the 2014 business year, during which it experienced year-on-year growth of one percent.
