CCgroup wins B2B brief with systems integrator KCOM

CCgroup has won an ongoing business-to-business-focused brief with KCOM, the systems integrator business established earlier this year.

The agency has been tasked with helping the client to develop a new enterprise brand message, before communicating this idea to potential customers, reports PRWeek.

KCOM's chief marketing officer Cathy Phillips said the company chose CCGroup as a partner because it demonstrated a strong knowledge of the enterprise technology market, as well as an ability to articulate KCOM's potential value.

Spun out from Yorkshire telecoms provider Kingston Communications at the start of 2016, KCOM works with clients that include HM Revenue and Customs, Bupa and Coral. The business generated revenue of 250 million pounds in the year before its separation.

The company is also working with Tavistock Communications on its investor relations and corporate comms.

CCgroup's chief executive officer said: "The company is actively embracing innovative, edgy approaches to communications to tackle a systems integration market that is acting in its own interests, rather than that of its clients."
