Ceva Animal Health to provide donations to RABI

3rd May 2013

Ceva Animal Health has announced that it will be launching a programme of donations to support the work carried out by the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI).

The charitable organisation – which is dedicated to supporting farmers and their families when they encounter financial difficulties – will receive one pound per unit sold of Ceva's anti-infective product range until the end of June 2013.

Products included in this scheme include injectable Cevolution offerings such as Marbox, Florkem, Cevaxel, Spectam, Meloxidyl and Marboxidin.

This comes at a time when RABI has experienced a pronounced increase in calls to its helpline and is making more emergency payments to farmers struggling with increasingly difficult conditions.

Ceva's managing director Alan Doyle said: "RABI is an essential lifeline for those in the farming industry who have been affected by economic hardship and the recent bad weather."

Last month, the company announced the launch of Marboxidin chewable tablets, a versatile new anti-infective therapy for dogs and cats.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801581510-ADNFCR
