Ceva renames Logic Diar-stop supplement as Logic Firm

Ceva Animal Health has announced that its Logic Diar-stop supplement product is being renamed and relaunched as Logic Firm.

The palatable oral paste contains intestinal protectants including montmorillonite, electrolytes and dextrose, which help to maintain intestinal function in dogs and cats by coating and protecting the intestinal cells, while absorbing toxins.

It also contains prebiotics called fruco-oligosaccharides, which help to maintain normal intestinal flora by promoting the growth of healthy bacteria essential to normal function, such as bifidobacteria and lactobacilli, while inhibiting potentially pathogenic bacteria.

Other advantages of the supplement include the effect it has on stimulating production of short-chain fatty acids such as acetate, propionate and butyrate, which are known to be important energy sources that support large intestine health.

Logic Firm is part of the wider Logic range of veterinary strength supplements for canines and felines, with three different tube sizes available for animals of different weights.
