Chandler Chicco Companies appoints EU healthcare leader

Chandler Chicco Companies has selected Alison Wright to take up a newly-created leadership role for its healthcare business.

Ms Wright, who is currently a director for the marketing agency Cohn and Wolfe, will join Chandler Chicco next month and will be tasked with supporting the firm's expansion in the healthcare communications sector, reports PRWeek.

She joins the company following an 18-month career at Cohn and Wolfe, where she was responsible for the delivery of UK, European and global campaigns for various healthcare and pharmaceutical sector firms.

Prior to this, she was employed by the pharmaceutical company Novartis as its head of oncology, external affairs and communications for Europe.

In her new role, Ms Wright will be based in Chandler Chicco's London offices and will work directly with agency head Fiona Hall.

Last month, PRWeek reported that Chandler Chicco Companies has also recently created a new head of European social media position, with former Profero London staff member Sam Walmsley taking the role.
