Chandler Chicco founder to step down from inVentiv Health

17th March 2014

Chandler Chicco founder Bob Chandler has announced he is to step down from his role as president of inVentiv Health Communications to spend more time with his family.

According to The Holmes Report, Mr Chandler intends to remain in the position into the summer in order to ensure a smooth transition, while the company is believed to be focused on external candidates as his replacement.

inVentiv chief executive Paul Meister said: "Given the investment we have made in building a strong leadership team and growing the business, the path now is clear for a transition.

"We will all miss Bob, his focus on people, his vision for the future, [and] his steady counsel."

Mr Chandler and his partner Gianfranco Chicco established the company in 1995 and it soon became the world's largest independent healthcare public relations firm. The pair sold it to specialist holding company inVentiv, before going on to launch a number of subsidiaries.

Since 2012, Mr Chandler has headed up inVentiv Health Communications, which includes  inVentiv Medical Communications, Digital+Innovation and Washington-based joint-venture Breakaway Policy Strategies. ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801703967-ADNFCR
