Chugai reveals internal restructuring
Chugai has reported an update of restructuring measures it is currently taking to maximise productivity at the company.
The firm’s director and executive vice-president Ryuzo Kodama will now also head up its financial supervisory division, specifically in the areas of corporate communications and purchasing.
Tatsumi Yamazaki, the executive vice-president of portfolio management, will oversee corporate regulatory compliance and quality assurance, as well as research, clinical development and drug safety.
Current senior vice-president of lifecycle management and marketing Tatsuro Kosaka has been appointed a director and the new executive vice-president of sales.
The changes will be effective from March 25th.
