Clarion Communications wins brief to promote 2018 RCNi Nurse Awards
Clarion Communications has been appointed to promote the 2018 RCNi Nurse Awards, following a five-way competitive pitch.
The nursing journal publisher RCNi has handed Clarion Communications a brief to raise the profile of the ceremony, with the aim of attracting corporate sponsorship, driving up attendance, boosting award entries and promoting the nursing professions, reports Gorkana.
The build-up to the 2018 awards will commence next month, with Clarion to support the entire process from launch through to the evening of the prizegiving in July.
Katherina Breen, head of events at RCNi praised the agency for their expertise and considered approach to the brief, expressing confidence that this will help the company to attract corporate sponsorship and raise the profile of the awards.
Lucy Swan, managing partner at Clarion Communications, added: "There are so many incredible stories of unsung nurses going above-and-beyond in the care of their patients – and we're very much looking forward to helping tell those stories."
