CME Medical to showcase neuraxial connectors solution at ESRA 2013

7th August 2013

CME Medical has announced plans to present a preview of its new complete non-luer (neuraxial) connectors solution at the forthcoming annual congress of the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia.

The new solution has been designed to meet all the requirements under the National Patient Safety Alert (NPSA) on safer spinal (intrathecal), epidural and regional devices.

It features connectors at both ends of the system that comply with the new rules, which dictate that all epidural, spinal and regional anaesthesia infusions and bolus doses should be performed using devices with connectors that will not also interface with intravenous equipment.

Clinicians will be able to see demonstrations of the system at the ESRA Congress and understand the various benefits it can provide.

John Carrington, managing director of CME Medical, said: "We will soon be able to help all hospitals fully meet the requirements of the NPSA alert and we are delighted to be able to offer a preview to ESRA delegates of this new and vital anaesthesia system."

The company is based in Blackpool and celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2011.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801622167-ADNFCR
