Coca-Cola Enterprises to launch off-trade website

16th December 2008

Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) is set to launch a new off-trade website.

The online resource is set to provide retailers with a functional portal to access relevant information for the business in question.

It additionally will contain information on all CCE brands, including equipment details and nutritional content – allowing companies to make stocking decisions for the outlet.

The website will feature an Ask the Experts section, allowing businesses to contact the enterprise directly.

Kenny Chisholm, trade communications manager for CCE, said: "In coming years we expect independent retailers will increasingly use the internet for business and they will want quick and easy direct access to CCE information. This online platform is a starting point."

He added it allows for further expansion of offerings to the off-trade, with a future aim to expand and include more information about merchandising.

The online resource will be available to businesses from Wednesday December 17th.

Last month, Coca-Cola added Abbey Well to its portfolio, following the acquisition of Waters & Robson Holdings.

Sourced in Morpeth, Northumberland, the purchase of the company has enabled the company to add another bottled water business to its portfolio.

Commenting at the time, Sanjay Guha, president of Coca-Cola Great Britain, said the acquisition of Abbey Well reflects the organisation’s "commitment to providing consumers with a range of drinks".ADNFCR-1050-ID-18933013-ADNFCR
