Cohn and Wolfe creates new global technology leader role

Cohn and Wolfe has announced the appointment of Julian Tanner to the newly-created role of global technology officer.

He will assume day-to-day responsibilities for the agency's technology business, driving growth and development across all regions, while also cultivating client relationships, providing senior counsel, developing new business and managing teams across the firm's international network.

Mr Tanner can boast three decades of experience in the PR and technology industries. He most recently served as chief executive officer and principal of AxiCom, which he founded in 1994 and built into one of the world's leading tech PR agencies.

He will continue to serve as chairman of AxiCom, working in partnership with its new chief executive.
