Cohn and Wolfe names deputy managing director of UK healthcare business

Cohn and Wolfe has announced the appointment of Tamsin Tierney as deputy managing director of its healthcare business in the UK.

Ms Tierney joins the agency from Tonic Life Communications, where she served as managing director for Europe, overseeing operational responsibilities and business development in addition to leading and implementing programmes for global clients.

As a biological sciences graduate, she has expertise in delivering both scientific medical communications programmes and consumer campaigns, with her past work spanning diverse therapy areas including cardiovascular health, immunology and oncology.

At Cohn and Wolfe, Ms Tierney will be responsible for continuing to drive the growth of the agency's healthcare business in London, with the division having experienced revenue growth of 33 percent in 2016.
