Colgate-Palmolive announces three management appointments
Colgate-Palmolive has appointed three current senior executives to new roles within its management team.
Justin Skala has been named as chief operating officer for North America, Europe, Africa/Eurasia and global sustainability. He most recently served as president for North America and global sustainability, and has been with the business since 1982.
Meanwhile, Noel Wallace – the firm's former president for Latin America, originally hired in 1987 – has been promoted to chief operating officer for global innovation and growth, as well as leading the Hill's Pet Nutrition business.
Finally, Franck Moison, who has served in various roles at Colgate since 1978, has been appointed as vice-chairman overseeing its business in Asia-Pacific and Latin America, as well as taking charge of overall business development efforts.
Ian Cook, Colgate's chairman, president and chief executive officer, said: "We are confident that their new assignments will help us further strengthen our worldwide capabilities and advance our business strategy."
The firm was able to grow its share of the global toothpaste and toothbrush markets in 2015 and is predicting solid organic sales growth this year.
