Colgate-Palmolive highlights efforts to promote sustainable water usage
Colgate-Palmolive has announced plans to expand its global efforts to promote the responsible use of water.
Coinciding with the recent World Water Day on March 22nd, the firm is broadening the scope of its #EveryDropCounts campaign, airing its award-winning Save Water advert – originally developed in 2014 – in more than 70 countries.
This video communication illustrates how small acts such as turning off the tap during toothbrushing can make a significant difference, and has been viewed millions of times on social media and elsewhere.
Additionally, Colgate will be adding the Save Water message to packaging for its soaps and cleaning products, having already feature the slogan on its toothpaste and toothbrush packaging for some time.
The company will also look to engage consumers online via social media as well as in store, partnering with retailers around the world to educate shoppers about World Water Day and the Save Water communications initiative.
This underlines the firm's commitment to making saving water a global sustainability priority, which earned it a place on the CDP Water A List in 2015 and 2016.
