Colgate to sponsor BDA Conference 2013

Colgate has announced that it will be a platinum sponsor of the British Dental Association's (BDA's) forthcoming annual conference, which takes place at ExCeL London from April 25th to 27th 2013.

The company will attend the British Dental Conference and Exhibition event to demonstrate its latest product offerings, including the new Colgate ProClinical A1500 electric toothbrush, which features smart sensors to automatically adjust speed and motion based on its position in the mouth.

Clinically proven to provide five times better plaque removal along the gumline and superior interproximal plaque reduction, the brush will be presented to attendees alongside other offerings from Colgate's surgical and home products.

Meanwhile, the company will also be hosting a seminar for professionals entitled Improving Periodontal Health in Practice – Preparing for Care Pathways and Skill Mix.

Anousheh Alavi, a specialist in periodontology and scientific affairs manager for Colgate, will talk the audience through effective team approaches for the delivery of periodontal care.

The British Dental Conference and Exhibition is one of the most important dates on the industry calendar, with confirmed guests including Earl Howe, the parliamentary undersecretary of state for quality in the Department of Health.
