Cook Medical enhances ecommerce facilities

9th December 2013

Cook Medical has announced a number of new improvements to its ecommerce platform in order to make ordering its healthcare products and medical devices more simple.

The updated system allows customers to build and save routine orders for the first time, making it quicker to purchase the same products on a regular basis. They will also be able to view their entire order history as part of a number of improved search options.

Other enhancements include more detailed product information, new payment options and the ability to confirm whether items are in stock.

This is the first time that Cook has updated its ecommerce platform since 2008 and will help to lower costs and bolster efficiency at a time when an increasing number of orders are coming from online.

Dave Reed, vice-president of the healthcare business solutions division and vice-president of operations at Cook Medical, said: "Cook's improved online ordering system is now more useful to a wider variety of our customers. They can take advantage of a simple, cost-effective way to order Cook Medical products."

Last week, the company announced that Rob Lyles has been appointed as its executive vice-president, with Mark Breedlove filling his former position as head of the peripheral intervention business.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801670269-ADNFCR
