Corin hails success of global training course

18th July 2011

Corin has expressed satisfaction with the foundation-level Corin Academy Global Training Course it held last month.

The course took place in Cirencester between June 2nd and July 1st 2011 and covered issues such as core elements, anatomy and physiology, the history of hip and knee prosthesis development and Corin's developments in this area.

Corin's group product managers, head of professional education and technical research manager were among those running the various lectures and interactive workshops, while external trainers included orthopaedic specialty registrars and a senior physiotherapist.

Participants on the course came from countries such as Austria, the US, Malaysia and Australia as well as the UK, with overall feedback noted as being highly positive.

Andy Sutcliffe, marketing director for Corin UK, said: "These events have worked as gold-standard vehicles to ensure we accelerate our ability to provide the best sales support to our surgeons and their patients."

Last month also saw Corin attend the British Orthopaedic Trainee Association annual congress, where it demonstrated products such as MiniHip and Uniglide.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800624785-ADNFCR
