Covance launches new interactive web response service

Covance has announced the launch of a state-of-the-art interactive web response (IWR) for randomisation and the management of drug supplies.

Powered by Clarix IVRS R4, the new service provides access to Covance’s clinical expertise and resources as well as interactive voice and web response technology solutions, according to the company.

Bill O’Callaghan, general manager and vice-president for Covance IVRS and cardiac safety services, commented: "Nowhere else in the market today can IVR/IWR customers get access to project managers with such a wealth of resources on hand, whether that be in-house PhD statisticians and physicians, or state-of-the-art technology solutions."

Mr O’Callaghan added that a service that offers cutting-edge technology together with the degree of clinical trial knowledge available from Covance is not available from anywhere else in the industry.

Earlier this year, the company – headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey – announced the launch of a hepatocyte system to provide customers with predictions of critical pharmacokinetic properties.
