Crabtree & Evelyn ‘committed to travel retail channel’

27th March 2014

Crabtree & Evelyn's decision to appear at this month's International Association of Airport Duty Free Stores expo in Orlando was a move that underlines the brand's intentions to expand in the travel retail channel.

This is according to managing director of the Latin America and Travel Retail Americas department Juancarlos Delgado and his team, who showcased Crabtree & Evelyn's latest wares and customisable merchandising throughout the show.

Talking to the Moodie Report, Mr Delgado said: "This is our second time exhibiting here and it shows that we are serious about the travel retail channel. We are committed to growing our airline, cruise ship and airport business."

He added the brand wants consumers to view it as a company undergoing a transformation process that will result in a "refreshed", modern look and feel even though the company has been operating for four decades.

In recent years, the brand's modernisation programme has been exemplified by the new, upscale Night Garden fragrance collection, inspired by the Middle East. ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801707259-ADNFCR
