CVS adds four small animal practices to portfolio

26th March 2015

CVS has announced the acquisition of four new small animal practices, bringing its practice division portfolio to 276 sites.

The Norfolk-based Aylsham Vets and Townsend Veterinary Practice in the West Midlands are the latest practices to join the group, alongside Westmoor Veterinary Hospital in Devon and Woodlands Veterinary Group in Plymouth.

Since its foundation in 1999, CVS has become the largest and fastest-growing mixed practice corporate veterinary group in the UK, with more than 3,000 staff employed at its practices and surgeries across the country.

Key to its success are its diverse range of career options, as well as its significant investments in infrastructure and continuous professional development.

Simon Innes, chief executive of CVS, said: "We are experiencing strong interest from practices across the country in becoming part of the CVS Group. We are delighted to welcome these new members."

The company's network also includes an online pharmacy, three pet crematoriums and five veterinary laboratories.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801781409-ADNFCR
