CVS Healthy Pet Club passes 300,000 members
CVS has announced that its flagship loyalty scheme the Healthy Pet Club has passed the 300,000-member milestone.
The scheme was originally launched in 2010 with 11,000 members, and was one of the first veterinary loyalty schemes to be introduced in the UK. Today, it has become the largest programme of its kind in the country.
Members of the Healthy Pet Club are able to spread their payments over a year, while also gaining access to savings on vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, plus a wide range of other benefits.
The 300,000th member was awarded a year's free membership by the Okeford Veterinary Centre – where she registered to join the scheme – to celebrate the milestone.
CVS noted that it conducts regular market research to determine whether or not the discounts and benefits it is offering are meeting the needs of members.
Mr Mukesh Rughani, Healthy Pet Club manager at CVS, said: "We have a number of exciting developments planned for later this year, which we believe will make it an even more useful tool for our member practices, while setting a new standard in value for our clients."
