CVS makes two senior team changes

1st April 2016

CVS has announced two changes to its senior team, with Steve Scully taking up a new role as acquisitions director of the company.

Mr Scully has played a key role in building CVS' practice division in recent years and will now be tasked with taking responsibility for the firm's acquisitions in the UK and Europe, as well as for identifying and delivering new greenfield surgery locations across Britain.

His former post of director of the practice division will henceforth be filled by Karyn MacKenzie, who joins CVS from BMI Healthcare. She will oversee the performance and development of the company's 119 practices and 342 sites across the UK.

In her previous position at BMI Healthcare, she was responsible for 15 acute hospitals employing more than 1,500 staff, with a combined turnover of 220 million pounds.

Simon Innes, chief executive of CVS, said: "Steve Scully has made a huge contribution to our practice division over many years … [and] Karyn MacKenzie is highly experienced director with extensive experience in the healthcare, leisure and retail industries."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801815834-ADNFCR
