CVS wins Top 100 Accelerator Award at EDP Business Awards

CVS has been presented with a prestigious award by the Eastern Daily Press (EDP), the leading regional paper in Norfolk.

At the 2016 EDP Business Awards, the company was selected for the Top 100 Accelerator Award, which is handed to successful and innovative Norfolk-based businesses that are able to adapt to meet market challenges and find new opportunities.

The sponsors of this year's award – including law firm Mills and Reeve, accountancy firm PwC and property consultant Roche – assessed the top 100 companies in Norfolk on the basis of the leadership shown through their approach to business, commitment to diversity and strong corporate governance.

CVS, as the UK's largest and fastest-growing veterinary group, was selected as the winner following this analysis.

Nick Perrin, finance director at CVS, said: "With our HQ in Norfolk and many thriving CVS practices across East Anglia, this region is very important to us and we are honoured to win this award."

This is the third business award CVS has won in the last year, having been named company of the year at the 2015 AIM Awards, while its chief executive Simon Innes was named chief executive officer of the year at Grant Thornton's Quoted Company of the Year Awards.
