Daiichi Sankyo names HR head for US commercial group

Daiichi Sankyo has announced the appointment of Leigh Ann Errico as vice-president of human resources (HR) within its administrative and commercial group in the US.

Ms Errico held roles of increasing responsibility in HR roles for more than 18 years prior to founding her own leadership coaching and consulting firm in 2007. Her past employers include Schering Plough, since acquired by Merck, and Pharmacia, now Pfizer.

In addition, she has worked for financial services, telecommunications and consumer products companies such as Merrill Lynch, AT&T and Master Foods, giving her a broad range of industry experience.

At Daiichi Sankyo, Ms Errico will leverage her extensive experience in change management, organisational and executive development, HR strategy for mergers and acquisitions, and individual and team coaching to help evolve the firm's corporate culture.
