De Facto completes management buyout from Chime Communications

16th July 2012

De Facto Communications has announced the completion of a management buyout that will see the company become independent of Chime Communications.

The newly-organised healthcare and life sciences communications agency will operate four main divisions, spanning digital, branding and design, scientific writing and PR operations.

Tristan Jervis and Alex Heeley will head up the new senior management team, while the company's core client roster will move across from Chime.

According to Mr Jervis, the recent separation of Chime and Bell Pottinger presented De Facto with the perfect opportunity to refocus on its core capabilities, while offering a wider range of services.

He said: "Moving forwards, we will be looking to grow organically and are particularly focused on helping companies we believe are contributing positively in the healthcare and life sciences arena both in Europe and the USA."

The company was previously part of the Open Health group, which is now 51 percent owned by Chime Communications.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801408552-ADNFCR
