Dechra appoints new regional business manager in Midlands

Dechra has appointed healthcare sector veteran Katie Wray as a new regional business manager.

Ms Wray joins the company's team in the Midlands and will be tasked with helping Dechra to increase its support of veterinary professionals in the central region of the UK.

She has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 20 years, with experience in both the human and animal health sectors, while she is also a dressage competitor in her spare time.

Ms Wray's expertise will be instrumental at a time when trading conditions are relatively constrained, but the company is confident that its growth prospects remain positive.

Dechra Veterinary Products' UK and Ireland country manager Bob Parmenter said her experience and enthusiasm "will be an asset to us as we continue to develop our support of vets and vet nurses in the UK and Ireland, through the development of services, brands and products".

The company also announced this week that it recently raised 466 pounds for the Severn Hospice near Shrewsbury by holding a social event and raffle.
