Dechra launches new allergy therapy Redonyl Ultra

Dechra has launched Redonyl Ultra, a new dietetic complementary feed for the treatment of allergic skin conditions in cats and dogs.

Each skittle capsule contains essential fatty acids, palmitoylethanolamide and biotin, which has been balanced to support the physiology of the animal's skin barrier. Every bottle contains 60 skittle capsules, in two strengths for different-sized animals.

Palmitoylethanolamide is a naturally-occurring bio-modulator that has been scientifically proven to combat the mechanisms that contribute to inflammation and pain, while biotin plays a key role in the synthesis of fatty acids and supporting optimal skin health.

Redonyl Ultra capsules can be opened and given with food, ingested directly or swallowed whole for flexible administration.

The new treatment is designed to be used as part of a multimodal approach to supporting skin function in cases of dermatosis and excessive hair loss.
