Dechra to host dermatology-focused CPD events in May and June

Dechra Veterinary Products has announced that it will be hosting a series of continuing professional development (CPD) sessions for May and June.

The three events will be presented by the qualified veterinary dermatology expert Dr Stephen Shaw, the founder of UK Vet Derm and the former president of the British Veterinary Dermatology Study Group.

Entitled Starting from Scratch, the sessions will provide a step-by-step approach to the diagnosis and treatment of itchy animals. Dr Shaw will share a best practice approach to dermatology cases, drawing on case study material.

The first event will take place on May 26th at the Hilton Leicester Hotel, followed by dates at the Holiday Inn Bristol-Filton on June 7th and the DoubleTree by Hilton in Chester on the 8th.

Claire Morgan, Dechra's brand manager, said: "Each session will be full of handy hints on how to get the most out of your work up and get practical tips on gaining owner compliance. The sessions will also draw on Steve's wealth of experience in referral dermatology cases."

Attending each seminar gives delegates two hours towards their personal CPD requirements.
