Dentsply Sirona launches disc line for inLab MC X5 production unit

Dentsply Sirona has announced the launch of a new CAD/CAM disc line for use in single-source restorations.

Designed for use with the five-axis inLab MC X5 production unit, the range includes conventional-sintered zirconium oxide and pre-shaded translucent zirconium oxide options, as well as transparent PMMA plastic for surgical guides.

Included in the range are the inCoris ZI disc for frameworks or more complex jobs and the inCoris PMMA guide for fast and cost-effective in-house production of surgical guides. It means integrated implant planning with inLab software SW 15 requires neither a model nor a radiographic template to produce guides.

Meanwhile, the colour-coding for material classes on the Dentsply Sirona CAD/CAM discs is applied consistently to tools, tool magazines and in the inLab CAM software, ensuring the convenient, safe processing of discs.

The products are being released under the new Dentsply Sirona brand name, created following the merger of Dentsply and Sirona, which was completed at the end of last month.
