Dentsply Sirona launches new S-Line short contra-angle handpieces

Dentsply Sirona has announced the launch of S-Line, a new shorter variant of its established T2 and T3 contra-angle handpieces.

The T2 S-Line and T3 S-Line devices are considerably shorter and more compact than the older versions, with titanium sleeves, an ergonomic grip and a lightweight design helping to provide well-balanced positioning in the hand.

Since the average head diameter measures only 8.7 mm, the instruments offer improved visibility, while the four-jet spray from the red contra-angle handpiece is optimised for quiet operation when in use.

These enhancements are intended to help the practitioner focus fully on the patient and remain free of fatigue, even during longer treatment sessions, while retaining the functionality and reliability for which the brand is known.

Of the two options, the T3 S-Line is intended as a sustainable solution for the economy price range, while the T2 S-Line offers additional illumination options for maximum visibility during treatments, as well as coming with a two-year warranty.
