Dentsply Sirona provides Intego treatment centres for Ecuadorian university

Dentsply Sirona has helped the University of Quito in Ecuador to install 49 of its Intego treatment centres.

The institute has implemented the equipment within its modern training spaces to provide students with an opportunity to learn according to the latest standards. The university is the first in Latin America to offer these facilities.

A team from Dentsply Sirona helped to usher the project to completion from beginning to end, laying out the production steps to lecturers before undertaking an intensive consulting and planning stage, with the installation itself commencing last September.

The university has also been provided with in-depth support and assistance during the subsequent induction phase, with a recent opening ceremony followed by a three-day training session given by Dentsply Sirona treatment centre experts.

Jorg Vogel, vice-president for sales clinic solutions at Dentsply Sirona, said: "We were very happy to be able to take on this challenge of offering the university new possibilities and being able to realise them together."

This work was carried out by Dentsply Sirona Clinic Solutions, which offers universities and dental clinics in-depth consultation services regarding the design, installation and digital networking of training and treatment spaces.
