Dentsply Sirona receives A’Design Award for Sidexis 4 software

Dentsply Sirona's Sidexis 4 X-ray software has been honoured with a prestigious A'Design Award in the interface and interaction design category.

A 179-member jury selected the product for this award based on the software's strong conceptual basis, as well as the quality of the implementation itself.

The A'Design Award is conferred by Italy's OMC Design Studios to recognise innovation in product design, with the aim of creating a platform for the best designers, companies and developers in the industry.

Key attributes of the Sidexis 4 design include its ease of operation and the ability to view and analyse a wide range of patient information at a glance, thereby facilitating the overall diagnostic process.

Jorg Haist, head of product management at Dentsply Sirona Imaging, said: "From the first idea for a product or for a new function until the last line of code, we work together with practitioners in order to develop the best possible product."

This comes after the firm also recently received an iF Design Award for its innovative CEREC SpeedFire sintering furnace.
