Dentsply to sponsor ConsEuro 2015 in London

Dentsply has announced that it will be acting as a silver sponsor at the ConsEuro 2015 industry conference, which will be held in London in May.

Running from May 14th to 16th, the event will be held in the UK for the first time ever at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, with the King's College London Dental Institute acting as host.

Industry expert Dr Marco Martignoni has been announced as one of the lecturers, with the dental professional set to speak about the importance of a good coronal seal to ensure long-term success of endodontic treatments.

He will also discuss SDR, the first self-levelling smart dentine replacement composite material launched by Dentsply five years ago. Dr Martignoni will be part of a packed schedule of talks and events taking place throughout ConsEuro 2015.

The company said: "Programme highlights include social media use in the dental profession, clinical advances in imaging and smart restorative materials, a subject in which Dentsply is actively participating."

Dentsply employs more than 2,800 people worldwide and does business in over 120 countries. It saw a record-breaking performance in terms of earnings during the third quarter of 2014.
