Details confirmed for 2018 British Orthodontic Conference

The British Orthodontic Society has confirmed details of this year's British Orthodontic Conference, which will be taking place at the QE11 Centre in London from September 27th to 29th.

This year's event will focus on the Ortho360 theme and aims to offer a comprehensive overview of the orthodontic speciality, highlighting the interdisciplinary work between orthodontists and other dental staff and team members.

A series of short, dynamic talks focused on the world of orthodontics will be held during the conference, with presentations on focusing on treatment, education and design.

Feedback from last year's show indicated that many practice owners were inspired to invest in new areas of orthodontics after attending, while many clinicians said they were convinced to embrace new techniques, such as temporary anchorage devices and digital technology and lingual systems.

Conference chairman Richard Jones said: "We are optimistic that with London as the venue and the all-embracing Ortho360 theme, we will have the opportunity to inform and inspire the hundreds of colleagues who count on BOC for their verifiable CPD."
