Devirex seeks PR agency partner to support UK Lipivir launch

Swiss healthcare products company Devirex is on the lookout for a new PR agency partner to help promote the launch of a cold sore cream.

The company's Lipivir brand is set to be launched in the UK in the first quarter of 2017, with the manufacturer seeking a consumer PR agency to help raise awareness of the benefits of the product, reports PRWeek.

Unlike most most other herpes products, Lipivir is specifically designed for use in the prevention of cold sores, offering a novel mode of action with proven efficacy and safety.

In a clinical investigation, twice-daily use of Lipivir was associated with extended periods without recurrence of cold sores.

Devirex has already commenced the search for an agency partner, with business consultancy Ingenuity helping with the selection process.

Founded in 2006, Devirex is based in Walchwil near Zurich and specialises in the production of dermatological products to address personal care issues.
