Diffusion wins brief with 3D printer company M3D
Diffusion has been handed a new brief by M3D, a creator of 3D printing technology aimed at a consumer market.
The manufacturer has selected Diffusion as its agency of record, an appointment that will see the agency support the client's product launches and media relations, as well as managing its presence at major events such as the Consumer Electronics Show, reports PRWeek.
This new contract will run throughout 2017 and commenced in October, after Diffusion and M3D previously collaborated on a project basis.
M3D was founded in 2012 and produces micro 3D printers for consumers audiences. As such, it is looking to pitch 3D printers as a household item that can be used in a variety of creative projects.
Kate Ryan, US managing director at Diffusion, said: "M3D really came out of the gate with a hot new consumer pricing model for 3D printing, and we want to take them to the next level."
The agency has extensive experience of working with consumer technology brands such as CogniToys and CyberLink, as well as Robox, another manufacturer of 3D printers.
