Dionex IC system wins R&D 100 Award

24th June 2011

Dionex's ICS-5000 Capillary Ion Chromatography (IC) system has received a prestigious award from R&D Magazine.

The product was named as a member of the R&D 100 for 2011, placing it among the most significant technological innovations to emerge over the past 12 months.

Designed for use in the environmental, food and beverage, bioscience, biofuel and power generation industries, the ICS-5000 features capillary IC and Reagent-Free IC capabilities.

It can operate continuously for months at a time using only five litres of deionised water per year.

According to Dionex, the product "sets new standards for convenience, performance and versatility" because it is always on, which means no time is wasted on start-up and calibration procedures.

Known as 'the Oscars of Innovation', the R&D 100 Awards are handed out by the editors of the publication and an independent judging panel.

Other products included in the R&D 100 this year include the Infiniium 90000 X-Series Oscilloscope from Agilent Technologies and Medtronic's Arctic Front Cardiac CryoAblation Catheter.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800599230-ADNFCR
