Dionex introduces Corona Ultra Charged Aerosol Detector
Dionex has announced the availability of its latest product – the Corona Ultra Charged Aerosol Detector for the Dionex UltiMate 3000 HPLC and RSLC systems.
Those in the scientific sector will find that it is capable of detecting any non-volatile and many semi-volatile analytes independent of chemical structure, with or without a chromophore, the firm claimed.
It allows charged aerosol detection (CAD) to be used for both small-molecule pharmaceutical counterions and large molecules – including polymers and proteins.
Furthermore, the organisation added, it is ideal for lipids using liquid chromatography to tackle the challenges presented by the large range of structures and varying UV responses.
Scientists may want to adopt CAD methods to improve versatility and ease of implementation.
Meanwhile, Dionex is offering its clients the opportunity to receive an upgrade of its Eluent Regeneration system for free.
Available for customers with the firm’s ICS-1000/1100/1500/1600 systems, those eligible can opt for a RFIC-ER Start-up Kit at no additional charge.
